In the summer of 2024, after being laid off from our jobs, we saw an opportunity to pursue our passion for creativity and design. We decided to start Allied Trades, a multimedia design studio specializing in print, web, video design, and editing. Organized under the IWW Printing and Publishing Workers Industrial Union, we formed our cooperative in 2025, combining our skills to create meaningful designs and products that resonate with people.
